She writes the things people don’t usually see. When not scribbling notes, she’s wandering old neighborhoods or flipping through secondhand books, savoring quiet moments.

Naomi Patricia – “the warm guide”

Naomi jumps in where curiosity meets appetite. She’s the one nudging friends toward the latest prata stall or the tiny dessert spot tucked behind a shophouse. Her writing is warm, chatty, and full of little tips you didn’t know you needed. She has a habit of collecting stray business cards from cafés she loves—just in case she wants to come back.

John Michael – “the thoughtful enthusiast”

John asks too many questions. He wants to know why a noodle is soft here but springy there, what makes a chilli sauce sing, and why a chef chose this over that. His writing pulls back the curtain without ever losing the joy of eating. Outside of reviewing, he’s wandering markets, chatting with cooks, and hunting for meals that leave a story behind.
